Title:
REACTOR CORE SUPPORT STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/051655
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention reduces the pressure loss at a core inlet without reducing the structural strength of a core support plate and reduces the range of variation in the pressure loss resulting from a coolant flow rate. L1 is the distance between the outer periphery 705 of a fuel support 102 and the surface 703 of a reinforcement member 701 along a normal 706 that passes through the center of an orifice 104 and is perpendicular to the surface of the reinforcement member. L2 is the distance between the outer periphery of the fuel support and the surface of the reinforcement member along a straight line that passes along the left edge of the periphery of the orifice and is parallel to the normal 706. L3 is the distance between the outer periphery of the fuel support and the surface of the reinforcement member along a straight line that passes along the right edge of the periphery of the orifice and is parallel to the normal 706. L4 and L5 are the shortest distances between the surfaces of reinforcement beams 305 and the outer periphery 704 of a control rod guide tube 103 to the left and right of the periphery of the orifice. Given the above, a reactor core support structure is configured such that L1 < L2, L1 < L3, L1 > L4, and L1 > L5.
