Abstract:
Disclosed is a reactor which is provided with a flow path structure having internal flow passages comprising: a first introduction passage, a second introduction passage, a merging passage which is joined to the downstream side of the first introduction passage and to the downstream side of the second introduction passage, and a reaction passage which is joined to the downstream side of the merging passage. The flow path structure comprises a base, a first sealing member which is joined to a first surface of the base in a state in which said first surface is covered, and a second sealing member which is joined to a second surface of the base in a state in which said second surface is covered. A first introduction groove constituting part of the first introduction passage is formed in the first surface of the base, and a reaction groove constituting part of the reaction passage is also formed therein, while a second introduction groove constituting part of the second introduction passage is formed in the second surface of the base. A merging hole constituting part of the merging passage is provided in such as way as to run through the base from the first surface to the second surface, between the first and second introduction grooves and the reaction groove, and to join the downstream ends of the introduction grooves and the upstream end of the reaction groove. The depth of the portion of the reaction groove which is joined to the merging hole is greater than the depth of the portion of the first introduction groove which is joined to the merging hole.
