Abstract:
Provided is a reactor having excellent assembly workability and whereby a gap material and a plurality of core pieces that constitute a magnetic core can be easily positioned. The reactor comprises: a coil having a pair of laterally arranged winding sections; a magnetic core having a section arranged inside the winding sections; and an insulating interposed member interposed between the coil and the magnetic core. The magnetic core comprises: a plurality of inner core pieces arranged inside the winding sections; a pair of U-shaped outer core pieces having side bases, arranged outside the winding sections so as to extend between the winding sections, and a pair of middle sections protruding from the side bases and arranged inside the winding sections, said side bases and middle sections being integrally formed; and an end section gap material interposed between the inner core pieces and the outer core pieces. The insulating interposed member comprises: a first end surface interposed section and a second end surface interposed section that are interposed between an end surface in the axial direction of the winding sections and the outer core pieces; and a pair of inside interposed sections that are interposed between the inner surface of the winding sections and the inner core pieces and the middle sections and which house all of the inner core pieces and the end section gap material.
