Abstract:
Provided is a reactor capable of being manufactured without holding an assembly, when fixing the assembly to a mounting plate via a joining layer. The reactor comprises a coil, a magnetic core, an insulating interposed member, a metal mounting plate, and the joining layer. The insulating interposed member comprises an inside interposed section, a first end surface interposed section, and a second end surface interposed section. The insulating interposed member comprises a combination of a plurality of split pieces including a split piece having the first end surface interposed section and a split piece having the second end surface interposed section. Each split piece comprises mutually engaging engagement sections. The first end surface interposed section and the second end surface interposed section comprise a leg piece that separates the coil from the mounting plate.
