Abstract:
This reactor is provided with: a coil having a pair of winding portions; a magnetic core disposed on the inside and outside of the winding portions; a holding member defining the relative positions of the coil and the magnetic core; a case accommodating an assembly of the coil, the magnetic core, and the holding member; and a sealing resin portion filled in the case. The case is provided with a bottom plate portion on which the assembly is mounted, a side wall portion surrounding a periphery of the assembly, and an opening portion facing the bottom plate portion. The side wall portion is provided with a pair of long-side portions facing each other, and a pair of short-side portions facing each other. The assembly is accommodated in the case with the axial direction of each of the winding portions lying along a depth direction of the case. The magnetic core is provided with an outer core portion disposed on the outside of the winding portions on the opening portion side. The holding member is provided with an outer wall portion covering at least a part of an outer peripheral surface of the outer core portion, and an extension portion protruding from the outer wall portion toward one of the short-side portions. When the case is viewed in plan, there is a gap between at least one of the long-side portions and the extension portion.
