Abstract:
A reading system S comprising a control device 6 installed in a vehicle and a reading device 5 for reading a tag of a piece of luggage disposed in a luggage compartment of the vehicle, wherein: the control device 6 comprises a second determination unit 621 that determines that a door of the luggage compartment was closed and a displacement control unit 622 that, when the second determination unit 621 determines that the door of the luggage compartment was closed, displaces the luggage compartment; and the reading device 5 comprises a first determination unit 531 that determines that the door of the luggage compartment was closed, and a tag information acquisition unit 532 that, when the first determination unit 531 determines that the door of the luggage compartment was closed, acquires identification information stored in the tag via non-contact communication.
