Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide ready-to-assemble furniture that can be easily assembled by a user and that can be inexpensively manufactured. Ready-to-assemble furniture, for which a suitable number of wall face component members (1) that are adjacent with a prescribed included angle are coupled, is configured so that a coupling metal piece (2) having toughness couples the wall face component members (1), and the wall face component members (1) transitioned, by way of lifting operations by an assembler, from a pre-assembled state, which is one wall face component member (1) stacked on the other or which is a deployed position, to an assembled state having a prescribed included angle, wherein the coupling metal piece (2) maintains the relative position of the wall face component members (1) by plastically deforming by way of bending stress generated in the coupling metal piece (2) due to the lifting operations.
