Abstract:
Provided are a real-time detection-based driving method of a display panel, and a display device. The driving method comprises: increasing a frame frequency of displayed data on a display panel to obtain cyclic frames of the displayed data (S101); using any of the cyclic frames as a detection data frame (S102); and performing smooth transition processing on two adjacent detection data frames (S103). The invention increases a resolution of a display panel and a duration of a detection operation, lowers requirements on the detection operation, and achieves timely and accurate detection performance. Moreover, after the detection operation has been performed, a smoothing algorithm is used to provide a transition, thereby reducing occurrence of a black screen caused by the detection operation.
