Abstract:
A real-time evaluation method for a VR immersion effect and an evaluation system. At the same time that a VR video is being played back, a brain electric signal is collected, and on the basis of α, β, and θ frequency energies obtained by wavelet transformation, a degree of emotional arousal and a degree of cognitive absorption are calculated in real time, and finally, a dynamically monitored immersive effect index is obtained, used for objective evaluation of an immersive effect. The invention implements real time measurement and analysis, and is able to perform dynamic monitoring of the immersive effect of a VR video in a procedural manner, using a multi-dimensional comprehensive calculation strategy for indices and taking into account individual variation, thereby effectively solving problems such as after-the-fact reporting, social desirability bias, and high subjectivity in means such as measurement by questionnaire, and thus having a wide potential for market applications.
