Abstract:
Provided is a system capable of highly precise underwater surveys over wide areas such as the sea. This system comprises: a plurality of buoys; a plurality of underwater mobile units; a HAPS-based wireless relay device capable of communicating wirelessly with the plurality of buoys; and an information processing device. The buoys each have a wired communication unit for communication via an underwater cable and a wireless communication unit for wireless communication with the HAPS-based wireless relay device. The underwater mobile units each have: a drive unit for underwater dive and movement when under autonomous control or external control, said drive unit being connected to the buoy via the underwater cable; a wired communication unit for communicating via the underwater cable; and an information acquisition unit that acquires underwater information. The information processing device processes information on the underwater survey on the basis of underwater information acquired by the plurality of underwater mobile units.
