Abstract:
A rear view system (01) for an automobile. The rear view system comprises a photographing device (10) and a liquid crystal display device (20). The photographing device (10) is used for obtaining an image laterally behind the automobile. The liquid crystal display device (20) is used for displaying the image obtained by the photographing device (10) in real time. The liquid crystal display device (20) comprises a backlight source module (21), a liquid crystal display panel (22) and a semi-transmitting semi-reflecting functional layer (23) arranged between the backlight source module (21) and the liquid crystal display panel (22). The semi-transmitting semi-reflecting functional layer (23) is configured or constructed to transmit light emitted by the backlight source module (21) when the backlight source module (21) is turned on and reflect external ambient light when the backlight source module (21) is turned off. Also disclosed is an automobile comprising the rear view system. By the cooperation of the photographing device (10) and the liquid crystal display device (20), a wide-field image on the lateral rear side of an automobile captured by the photographing device (10) can be displayed on the liquid crystal display device (20), so that a driving field of vision without a blind spot can be realized.
