The present invention relates to a rearward movement prevention device for a vehicular pedal device, the rearward movement prevention device being capable of preventing an operating pedal from moving rearward when a dash panel is displaced rearward of a vehicle, wherein the rearward movement prevention device is capable of preventing the rearward movement of the operating pedal irrespective of the state of an output member. A brake pedal device 1 has a pedal bracket 10, an operating pedal 20, an intermediate lever 25, a connection link 30, a connection member 40, and a bracket 50 for collision, which serves as a stopper member. The pedal bracket 10 has a first insertion hole 13 and a second insertion hole 14. When a vehicle is subjected to a frontal collision, a first support shaft 11 moves within the first insertion hole 13 toward the front of the vehicle because of restriction by the bracket 50 for collision. The brake pedal device 1 is configured so that the coordinated movement of the first support shaft 11 and the second support shaft 12 caused by the connection member 40 forcibly rotates the operating pedal 20 and the intermediate lever 25 toward the front of the vehicle, thereby preventing the tread section 21 of the operating pedal 20 from moving rearward.
