Abstract:
A rebar coupler is disclosed. The rebar coupler, according to the present invention, comprises: a housing which has a first rebar inserted in one side thereof opened in a hollow cylindrical shape, and a second rebar inserted in the other side thereof so as to connect the first rebar and the second rebar, and which has a shielding wall at the inner center thereof so as to separate the opened one side and other side; a mount part inserted in each of the one side and other side of the housing so as to be disposed on the outer sides of the rebars; a plurality of coupling parts which are disposed so as to be slidingly transferrable on the mount parts, and which make contact with the outer circumferential surfaces of the inserted rebars so as to prevent same from being detached; an elastic part which provides a restoring force to the sliding transfer of the coupling parts so that the coupling parts being slidingly transferred by the rebars inserted on the inner side of the mount parts may be returned; and a cover part which is coupled to either end part of the housing so as to prevent the mount parts and the coupling parts from being detached to the outside of the housing by the tensile forces of the rebars.
