Abstract:
Provided is a receipt management system which manages information which relates to receipt of a parcel, said system comprising: a processor which executes a program; and a storage device which is connected to the processor. Being capable of accessing a point management database for managing points which are awarded to receivers, the receipt management system: notifies an addressee terminal that a parcel sent to the addressee can be received; receives information pertaining to a receiver which has been inputted into the addressee terminal; after completion of the delivery of the parcel to the receiver, records information pertaining to the completed parcel delivery to the receiver; and after the parcel has been handed off from the receiver to the addressee, updates the point management database so as to award prescribed points to the receiver.
