Abstract:
The invention relates to a receiver container (2) for receiving body fluid, particularly blood, comprising an open end (4), an end (5) which is closed by a base wall (6), and a container wall (7) which extends therebetween and defines a longitudinal axis (8). The container wall (7) comprises an inner surface (9) and an outer surface (11) that is distanced therefrom by a wall thickness (10). The receiver container (2) is made from a plastic material. At least one reinforcement rib (27) is arranged on at least one first subsection (28) of the inner surface (9) of the container wall (7) and protrudes towards the longitudinal axis (8), said first subsection (28) extending from the region of the closed end (5) and towards the open end (4). The invention also relates to a receiver unit (1) comprising such a receiver container (2) which is closed by a closure device (3).
