Abstract:
A receiver (300) is provided with: a reception antenna (301); a reception unit (351); and a demodulation unit (352). The reception unit (351) sequentially receives signals modulated through spectrum diffusion, via the reception antenna (301). The demodulation unit (352) demodulates a first signal which includes information for specifying a long-period diffusion code and which has been received by the reception unit (351) by executing reverse diffusion using a short-period diffusion code. The demodulation unit (352) specifies the long-period diffusion code on the basis of the information obtained from the first signal. Then, the demodulation unit (352) demodulates a second signal received by the reception unit (351) subsequent to the first signal, by executing reverse diffusion using the long-period diffusion code.
