Abstract:
A receiving apparatus, which selects and receives, based on a user's operation,
a broadcast or information and presents it to the user, has a channel set management
part (30) that manages, based on a given rule, a plurality of channels corresponding
to contents on a network as of Internet or broadcasts received by the receiving
apparatus (100) in such a manner that each of channel groups is managed as a given
unit of management. Therefore, even if the number of channels is increased, the
user can easily treat more channels than in a case of managing all of the channels
in the same way without grouping them.
