Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a receiving device and a communication system with which it is possible to prevent any reduction in signal quality and improve the efficiency of signal transmission when a data signal is transmitted via a transmission line to which a plurality of transmitting devices and the receiving device are connected. [Solution] Provided is a receiving device connected to a transmission line to which each of a plurality of transmitting devices is connected, the receiving device being provided with a compensation circuit for compensating a signal transmitted separately in time from each of the transmitting devices, and an adjustment circuit for adjusting the operation of the compensation circuit, the adjustment circuit adjusting the operation of the compensation circuit by a first adjustment value for adjusting the operation of the compensation circuit, the first adjustment value being read from a recording medium in which the first adjustment value is stored.
