Abstract:

This technology relates to a receiving device, a transmitting device, and a data processing method which enable provision of detailed information of emergency information that is reported in an emergency. A receiving device receives a digital broadcast signal, and on the basis of control information included in the digital broadcast signal and including information relating to detailed information of emergency information that is required to be announced urgently, performs processing relating to an emergency information application that provides the detailed information of the emergency information. This technology is applicable, for example, to a television receiver.
