Abstract:
Provided are a reception apparatus, a transmission apparatus, a control method, a transmission method, and a program that can control a frame image size of each of frame images constituting a moving image so that the frame images are to be transmitted at appropriate timings. A frame-image reception unit (64) receives a first frame image included in the moving image. A control data update unit (74) performs control so that a frame image size of a second frame image to be received after the first frame image and included in the moving image corresponds to a time required for reception of the first frame image.
