Abstract:
The present technology relates to a reception apparatus, a transmission apparatus and a data processing method that enable execution of processing related to time information associated with various operations.
The reception apparatus receives metadata including information used to execute processing related to time information in accordance with modes associated with multiple pieces of time information and executes, on the basis of the received metadata, the processing related to the time information, whereby the reception apparatus can execute the processing related to the time information associated with various operations. This technique can be applied, for example, to television receivers.
