Abstract:
This reception circuit (3) receives a transmission signal (V1) through an alternating-current coupling element in which a primary side coil (11) and a secondary side coil (12) are magnetically coupled, wherein the primary side coil (11) operates in a power system different from a transmission circuit (2) which outputs the transmission signal (V1), the transmission signal (V1) flowing through the primary side coil (11), and the secondary side coil (12) comprises a center tap to which a predetermined voltage is supplied from an external terminal. The reception circuit (3) is provided with: a pulse width amplification circuit (31) which holds pulse signals generated at opposite ends of the secondary side coil (12) for a predetermined period and outputs the signals as held signals (V3P, V3N) respectively; and a difference amplifier (32) which compares the voltage of the held signal (V3P) with the voltage of the held signal (V3N) and outputs a result of the comparison.
