Abstract:
A start code, which is representative of the start of a frequency difference adjustment code sequence, is detected from received data. A timing error between a received clock and an internal clock is determined. The length of an adjustment code, which is inserted, in the received data, at a position remote by a specified distance from the position where the start code is detected, is adjusted in accordance with the timing error.
