Abstract:
In the present invention, a display information output unit outputs a luminance setting screen having an adjustment point pertaining to a prescribed target luminance that is indicated, such output performed when it is determined, on the basis of the service information of a program, that the program images are high dynamic range images having a wider luminance range than a standard luminance range. A luminance setting unit sets the target luminance of the adjustment point on the basis of an operation, and the luminance setting unit adjusts the luminance of the adjustment point and the luminance of the images on the basis of luminance adjustment information indicating the target luminance.
