Abstract:
This technology relates to a reception device, a reception method, and a program which make it possible to reduce power consumption. An extraction circuit extracts partial information of control information added to data, and an excerption processing circuit excerpts, from the data, data specified by the partial information extracted by the extraction circuit. An error correction circuit performs error correction on the data excerpted by the excerption processing circuit. This technology is applicable to a reception device for receiving a signal in advanced wideband satellite digital broadcasting defined in the ARIB STD-B44 standard.
