Abstract:
A reception device having a plurality of input means for receiving output signals from a plurality of external devices. The reception device includes a reception unit for receiving a remote control signal, an identification information extraction unit for extracting identification information from the remote control signal, a signal detection unit for detecting output signals from the plurality of input means, a storage unit for storing predetermined information, and a write unit for correlating the information indicating the input means whose output signals have been detected by the signal detection unit with the identification information extracted by the identification information extraction unit and writing these information in the storage unit.
