Abstract:
[Problem] To obtain a reception device with which it is possible to perform optimum high-density wavelength multiplexing that conforms to a transmission condition and improve the efficiency of frequency utilization. [Solution] A reception device 20 is configured to be provided with a separation means 21 and a plurality of optical reception means 22. The optical reception means 22 are further provided with a photoelectric conversion means 23, a reception coefficient computation means 24, and a band restoration means 25. The separation means 21 separates a multiplexed signal spaced by less than or equal to a baud rate to which spectrum shaping for narrowing the signal bandwidth of each channel to or less than the baud rate was applied on the transmission side as a band narrowing filter process on the basis of the characteristic of a transmission path. The photoelectric conversion means 23 converts an optical signal into an electrical signal. The reception coefficient computation means 24 acquires a parameter of the spectrum shaping applied on the transmission side as a band narrowing parameter. The band restoration means 25 applies a process of reverse characteristic to the band narrowing filter process to a received signal on the basis of the acquired band narrowing parameter and restores the band of the received signal.
