Abstract:
A reciprocating cutting tool includes a motor shell (1) and a gear box (2) connected with the motor shell (1). A motor (11) is provided in the motor shell (1). A reciprocator (4) is provided in the gear box (2). The reciprocator (4) comprises a suspension (40) and a reciprocating lever (5) connected with the motor (11) by a reduction gear (21) and an eccentric shaft (22) and driven by the motor (11). The suspension (40) comprises a top plate (41) and a bottom plate (42). The reciprocating lever (5) is movably connected with the bottom plate (42) only, and does not extend out of the top plate (41) in direction of reciprocating motion. The reciprocating lever is not guided and positioned by the top plate of the suspension, so the reciprocating lever does not extend out of the top plate of the suspension during the process of the reciprocating motion of the reciprocating lever. The vertical height of the gear box can be greatly reduced, consequently the vertical height of the cutting tool is reduced. The reciprocating cutting tool is convenient to use.
