Abstract:
The present invention relates to a reciprocating device 1 provided with: a reciprocating member 11; a reciprocating position control mechanism 21, 72 for performing a control so that the reciprocating member reciprocates between an advance position to which the reciprocating member advances and a retreat position to which the reciprocating member retreats; and a limiting member 30 for establishing a limited state in which the reciprocating movement of the reciprocating member is limited. The reciprocating member 11 is provided in a case so as to reciprocate while rotating relative to the case. The reciprocating position control mechanism 21, 72 has a case-side member 72 which is provided at a predetermined position on the case, and a reciprocating member-side member 20 which is provided on the reciprocating member by being fitted to the reciprocating member in a manner that allows relative rotation. The limiting member 30 is provided to allow movement between a limited position at which the limited state of the reciprocating member 11 is established and a release position at which the limited state is released. An operation for limiting the reciprocation of the reciprocating member can be performed reliably because the limited state of the reciprocating member 11 is established due to engagement with the reciprocating member-side member 20 at the limited position.
