Abstract:
A device for reciprocating and driving a member to be driven is configured in such a manner that a force for reciprocating and driving the member to be driven is increased by a simple configuration and that the dimension of the member to be driven, which is provided in the device, measured in the axial direction is reduced.
A piston device (10) is provided with a motor (20) which has a drive shaft (22) and a drive roller (23) which has an outer peripheral surface coaxial with the drive shaft (22) and which rotates integrally with the drive shaft (22). The piston device (10) is provided with a coiled spring (50) supported so that the coiled spring (50) can rotate about the axis of the coil and can reciprocate in the direction of the axis. The coil of the coiled spring (50) extends helically while forming a gap greater than the outer diameter of the front end section of the drive roller (23). The drive roller (23) is inserted in the gap of the coil, and the outer peripheral surface of the drive roller (23) is in contact with the wire (50a) of the coil.
