Abstract:

In a reciprocating linear drive actuator used as a drive source for an electric toothbrush, two permanent magnets are formed in a substantially plate-like or tube-like shape and fitted, directly or with a spacer in between, on a shaft at a predetermined axial interval and a mover is constituted of the shaft and the permanent magnets. On the other hand, a tube-like stator constructed from a coil wound on a bobbin, stationary yokes, etc. is provided such that it is coaxial with the center axis of the mover and that it is opposite the side faces of the permanent magnets of the mover with a predetermined gap between the stator and the magnet side faces.
