Abstract:

A projecting part 31S projecting to a first sliding surface 2A side in a cross-section along the sliding direction of a second sliding surface 31S is provided on the second sliding surface 31S, which slides relative to the first sliding surface 2A, and an apical part Ps, which becomes the most projected portion, and a bottom edge part Qs, which is arranged on the downstream side of the apical part in the sliding direction of at least the second sliding surface 31S and becomes the position that is most separated from the first sliding surface 2A, are provided on the projecting part 31S; when a gap between the first sliding surface 2A and the second sliding surface 31S at the apical part Ps is considered to be a minimum gap h1, and the gap at the bottom edge part Qs is considered to be a maximum gap h2, then h1 and h2 are set to ranges of h1 = 0.5-40 μm and h2/h1 = 1.5-5.0.
