Abstract:
Provided is a reciprocating tool in which it is possible to reduce vibrations that occur during work, and to improve workability and machining accuracy. The present invention is provided with: a transmission gear unit 61 having a weight 611A and a bevel gear 611, the transmission gear unit 61 receiving driving force from a motor 3 and rotating in a first direction about an axis B; and a counterweight unit 62 having a weight 62A, the counterweight unit 62 receiving driving force from the motor 3 and rotating in a second direction, which is opposite the first direction, about the axis B. The center 61G of gravity of the transmission gear unit 61 and the center 62G of gravity of the counterweight unit 62 are positioned furthest from a blade mounting unit 8 when the blade mounting unit 8 is positioned at a forward position. The center 61G of gravity of the transmission gear unit 61 and the center 62G of gravity of the counterweight unit 62 are positioned nearest to the blade mounting unit 8 when the blade mounting unit 8 is positioned at a rearward position.
