Abstract:
Provided is a reciprocation pump which can reduce pulsation of liquid, caused in association with reciprocation of a reciprocation means. The reciprocation pump is comprised of a supply liquid-side auxiliary pump chamber (P1a) which communicates with a supply liquid-side pump chamber (P) so as to store dialysis liquid and allow the dialysis liquid to pass therethrough, said supply liquid-side auxiliary pump chamber being constructed so that the volume thereof changes in a manner opposite to the change of the volume of the supply liquid-side pump chamber (P1) in association with the plunger (2); and a waste liquid-side auxiliary pump chamber (P2a) which communicates with a waste liquid-side pump chamber (P2) so as to store dialysis liquid and allow the dialysis liquid to pass therethrough, said waste liquid-side auxiliary pump chamber being constructed so that the volume thereof changes in a manner opposite to the change of the volume of the waste liquid-side pump chamber (P2) in association with the plunger (2). The reciprocation of the plunger (2) supplies the dialysis liquid to a blood purification device via the supply liquid-side pump chamber (P1) and the supply liquid-side auxiliary pump chamber (P1), and discharges waste liquid from the blood purification device via the waste liquid-side pump chamber (P2) and the waste liquid-side auxiliary pump chamber (P2a).
