Provided is a recirculation toilet utilizing the complex fermentation method in a limited space. A recirculation toilet utilizing the complex fermentation method comprises a closet seat (1), a fermentation tank (2) and a fermentation composite tank (3) for treating excrement from the closet seat (1), a fermentation sedimentation tank (4) which separates liquefied materials delivered from the fermentation composite tank (3) into the fungus bed and moisture and returns the fungus bed to the fermentation tank, and a composite tank (5) which performs contact aeration of moisture from the fermentation sedimentation tank (4) and circulates the water for washing, wherein the fermentation composite tank (3) having the shape which is narrow in the horizontal direction and deep in the vertical direction and in which fermentation takes place with higher aerobicity toward the downstream side, the fermentation sedimentation tank (4) and the composite tank (5) are arranged directly above the fermentation tank (2) having the shape which is wide in the horizontal direction and shallow in the vertical direction and carries out aerobic fermentation principally.
