Abstract:
An internally-toothed plate (105) and an externally-toothed plate (106) are fit together in a manner such that a portion of an externally-toothed gear (161a) of the externally-toothed plate (106) is positioned within a recession (151) in a manner such that the externally-toothed gear (161a) meshes with an internally-toothed gear (151a), and fit together in a manner such that the bearing (151b) of the internally-toothed plate (105) is positioned within a recession (161), in other words, in a manner such that the externally-toothed plate (106) fits into the internally-toothed plate (105). At this time, a seat cushion bracket (121), to which the internally-toothed plate (105) is attached by means of laser welding, is formed in a manner so as to be on the back surface of the recession (161) of the externally-toothed plate (106) and to come into contact with a peripheral edge (163). As a result, a reclining device is achieved that has a small number of components and that can be produced with a small size.
