Abstract:
An automatic bullet charger for ball cartridges of a recoilless firearm is enabled to be recoilless by the provision of a group of parts (B) which moves in the opposite direction to the group of parts (A) of the charger which is moved by the gases produced by the combustion of the cartridge (13) on the same line of operation (4) as the group (A), substantially equalizing the total weights (M1), (M2) of the groups (A), (B) and making zero the resultant of the forces (F1), (F2) received by the firearm body (1) when the groups (A), (B) move. This charger can be utilized as a charger for a recoilless automatic machine gun, a hunting gun, a large rivetting gun or similar small or large sized recoilless guns.
