Title:
RECOMBINANT VECTOR FOR PRODUCING PINOSTILBENE OR PTEROSTILBENE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/008979
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a recombinant vector for producing pinostilbene or pterostilbene, a transformant for producing pinostilbene or pterostilbene, and a method for producing pinostilbene or pterostilbene. The use of the recombinant vector for producing pinostilbene or pterostilbene according to the present invention allows pinostilbene or pterostilbene to be obtained through a single vector system, and is economical, since pinostilbene or pterostilbene is mass-produced even from simple sugars alone via a microbial metabolic pathway. In addition, pinostilbene or pterostilbene produced using the recombinant vector has anticancer, anti-inflammatory, antihyperlipidemic, and antioxidative effects and thus can be beneficially used in the pharmaceutical industry.
