Abstract:
The present invention relates to a recombinant yeast in which an organelle is mutated by gene manipulation and a method for production of various isopreonoids by using the same. When a metabolic pathway of the useful product isoprenoid is introduced thereinto, a mutated yeast that is increased in the number or size of the organelle peroxisome can remarkably increase an isoprenoid production yield, compared to yeasts in which the organelle is not mutated, allowing the mass production of isoprenoid and fining useful applications in various industrial fields.
