Abstract:
A recommended-tire selection system (100) is provided with: a running condition acquisition unit (101) for acquiring the running condition of a vehicle to which recommended tires are to be fitted; a retread necessity acquisition unit (103) for acquiring the necessity of retreads for replacing treads; a performance determination unit (105) for determining the rolling resistance and wear resistance of the recommended tires on the basis of the acquired running condition, and for determining the durability of casings on the basis of the acquired necessity for retreads; and a selection unit (107) for selecting the recommended tires that combine the treads and casings that satisfy the determined rolling resistance, wear resistance and casing durability.
