Disclosed are a reconstruction method and device for an active power distribution network. The reconstruction method for an active power distribution network comprises: acquiring a plurality of time periods within a pre-determined time; acquiring network losses of a plurality of nodes in an active power distribution network within each time period of the plurality of time periods; comparing the size of the network losses of the plurality of nodes, and acquiring three nodes having the minimum network losses in sequence; conducting one-to-one pairing on the nodes within every two adjacent time periods, so as to form three topological chains, wherein each of the three nodes is paired with the node having the minimum number of switching actions in the three nodes within the adjacent time period in sequence from the minimum to the maximum number of switching actions; and selecting the topological chain having the minimum sum of network loss costs and switching costs in the three topological chains formed within the pre-determined time as the reconstruction solution of the active power distribution network, wherein the switching costs are the costs generated in the switching actions. By means of the embodiments of the present invention, the problem in the prior art that the reconstruction of an active power distribution network consumes a relatively long time is solved, thereby achieving the effect of reducing the time consumption of the reconstruction of the active power distribution network.
