Abstract:
An ink−jet recorder comprising 1. a precoating means (253) for applying a pre−treatment agent, 2. a discharging means (251) for discharging ink, 3. an overcoating means (255) for adhering a post−treatment agent at least on the ink, 4. a record means (470) on which printing modes according to the kinds of recording medium is recorded, 5. a selecting means (420) for selecting a printing mode from the record means (470) based on the kind of the recording medium, and 6. a drive control means (430) for controlling the operation of the precoating means (253), the discharging means (251) and the overcoating means (255) based on the selection result.
