Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a recording apparatus that can acquire information enabling an increase in the possibility of determining the cause of an accident. A recording apparatus (10) according to this embodiment is provided with: a photographing data acquisition unit (21) that acquires photographing data obtained by photographing the inside or the outside of a vehicle; an event detection unit (22) that detects an event occurrence; a route information acquisition unit (26) that acquires route information of the vehicle; and a recording control unit (23) that records, as first recording data, data including the route information in photographing data from a first timing before the event occurrence to the time of the event occurrence when the event detection unit (22) detects the event occurrence.
