Abstract:
An objective of the present invention is to provide a recording control device, recording device, recording control method, and recording control program designed to appropriately record an event that might be the cause of a traffic accident and the like. A recording control device (110) according to the present invention comprises: a video data acquisition part (111) for acquiring video data in which the surroundings of a vehicle are photographed; an event detection part (114) for detecting the occurrence of a predetermined event to the vehicle; a change point detection part (115) for assessing whether the vehicle has transited a change point on a travel path on the basis of current vehicle position information; and a recording control part (116) for recording video data for a period including a first interval in a recording part (140) as an event record file when the event detection part (114) has detected the occurrence of the event, the first interval extending from a transit time point at which a change point was transited up to the event detection time point, the transit time point being at least a first time period before the event detection time point.
