Abstract:

This recording device comprises: a control means; an output means that oscillates using delivered power supply and outputs at least one clock signal; at least one counting means that receives the at least one clock signal and counts time; and a power supply means that stops delivery of power supply to the control means and continues delivery of power supply to the output means and the at least one counting means in a standby state. The control means performs prescribed processing if, upon transition from the standby state to an operating state, a count value of the at least one counting means exceeds a prescribed value, and resets the count value of the at least one counting means when transitioning to the standby state.
