Abstract:
A technique capable of reducing positional displacement of a record in the direction of conveyance of a recording medium. A recording device according to the technique has conveyance means for conveying the recording medium by rotating a roller, detection means for detecting the amount of conveyance of the recording medium conveyed by the rotation of the roller of equal to or less than one rotation, acquisition means for acquiring the amount of conveyance of the recording medium which amount is defined relative to a predetermined amount of rotation of the roller, and setting means for setting the amount of rotation of the roller when an image is formed on the recording medium, the amount of rotation of the roller being set based on the acquired amount of conveyance of the recording medium relative to the predetermined amount of rotation of the roller.
