Abstract:

Recording fluids containing copper-phthalocyanine compounds of general formula (I), wherein PC is a copper-phthalocyanine skeleton; B is C2-C4 alkylene or optionally carboxylated or sulfonated phenylene; R is lower alkyl or lower alkoxy lower alkyl; M is hydrogen or an alkali or alkaline earth metal; 1 is 1 to 3; m is 0 to 2; and n is 1 or 2; with the sum of 1, m and n being 2 to 4. The images formed by using the recording fluids have a high density and a clear tone and are excellent in storage stability, particularly in water resistance.
