Abstract:
When a particular play list is displayed on a display unit (119) of an optical disc reproducing device, a display data switching unit (118) outputs local display data appropriate for the display device stored in the local display data storage unit (117) to the display unit (119) instead of the display data extracted from the reproduction management data. Thus, even when the number of digits of the display area of the display unit device is small, the play list name may be displayed without performing scroll.
