Abstract:
Provided is a recording method, a recording device, and a program for efficiently recording incidental information in frames in video data. The recording method is for recording incidental information in frames in video data composed of a plurality of frames, the recording method including: a recognition step for recognizing a subject in a frame for each frame; a search step for searching incidental information for recordable incidental information for the recognized subject; and a recording step for recording incidental information in the frame on the basis of the results of the search step, wherein the number of frames constituting video data is a first number and the number of frames for which the search step is executed is a second number, the second number is smaller than the first number.
