Abstract:
This recording paper is produced by subjecting a substrate comprising a thermoplastic resin film to coating with a coating solution containing an olefin based copolymer emulsion (solids fraction 100 mass parts) and a silane coupling agent (solids fraction 2-14 mass parts), and drying it to form a surface treatment layer having a solids content level of 0.1-5 g/m2. In so doing, there can be provided a recording paper that has high adhesion between the support layer and the surface treatment layer, making possible various types of printing, including offset printing and flexographic printing, and that particularly when used in electrophotographic recording printing systems that employ liquid toner, resists shedding of toner owing to high adhesion between the toner and the surface treatment layer.
